change and save instruments to a style PA 1000

hello all im switching from a PA 80 to a PA1000, how do i change instruments to each variation as well tempo intro/start and saved ??? i haven't download the manual yet, i simply want to change and the factory instrument pre set to each variation.... example
sweet ballad style variation one is piano , i wanted to change to steel guitar and saved so will be there the next time and do the same with tempo , intro and so on , some one mentioned here to use the song book?? but how .....
