Yeah, I have pretty much given up on the Legacy Collection because of the unusable interface. I still like the sound of them, but I just cannot use them as I cannot see what's going on and I cannot scroll around in a stamp-sized window. It is soon 2017 and the GUI is stuck in 2002.gould wrote:Legacy GUI question was asked during Korg's AMA at Reddit.
So at least we know the issue will be raised!

+1 for larger GUIs...... that's the reason i joined this forum so i could request them!
I used to own an M1 many years ago, only synth i had for about 10 years and ended up sick of the thing but the M1 plugin is so much more!!!!
I'm glad they didn't go the same route as Roland and emulate the DAC sections too, easy enough to re-amp soft synths if you want that, as it sounds absolutely pristine now!
The only problem is the miniscule GUI! They must be completely unusable on a 4K screen as they're a struggle on a 1920x1080 screen.

Same here. Some element of the KLC pretty much always ends up being part of every track. The tiny GUI kind of keeps me from upgrading my studio setup to a 4k/5k displayMonkey Man wrote:Can't wait for the GUI upgrade.
The mere thought of the WS with a larger, intuitive GUI makes me giddy with enthusiasm...

Well, if the GUI's resizable you'll be able to make it as tiny as you like and avoid any danger of having to upsize your screen!
Due to space considerations I'll be stuck on the same monitor size I've had since 2000. I figure the Mac's ability to switch between as many "desktops" (layouts) as I "need" means there's no excuse to be made that I don't have enough real estate. 1 screen for mixer, 1 for plugs, 1 for MIDI edit, 1 for tracks overview (Digital Performer), and so on.
EDIT:
Oh, and if I can expand the WS GUI to full-screen, I could dedicate a "desktop" solely to it!
Now that'd sure beat the Hell out of painting a house through the front-door letter-box slit, as I had to do with the WS SR module!
