Cat food? Greg, yer lucky! Back in my day, we survived on two grains of rice, and a smooth stone to suck on for water.
2 grains of rice and and an old rock ??? Thats a gourmet dinner for me

There are a lot of good stuff in here that will be burried within the forum.
Then we can subscribe to that account and when anyone makes a new tune we can actually hear it :)

You can get a lot of songs for free in your own account :)
The forum account can also be free and nothing is stored there exept the link to your track by having the forum account subscribed to your account . Then the tracks appear on the forum account home stream page. I see alot of ppl doing this. they make nothing, but subscribe to other artists and create playlists.
I pay for my SC account, but the only benefit is i can see stats....

yep. I can do the math. I figure you can get about 40 songs uploaded to SC for free. As long as the author(s) do not upload 10 minute songs frequently.

Don't mind me. I tend to think long term.

Schmooster wrote:Haha, I hope not - that took longer than writing it lol. It sounds crap through an iPhone imho but it fills the full stereo field - it's not a great mix at all as it was done purely in FLStudio 2 years ago when I'd not been using it long - but it should still 'fill' the space and there's a lot of panning, delay and 'bouncing' arps from front to rear, balanced EQ etc - but I'm no master at mixing - oh hang on though; this is the MP3 version so actually it will sound a bit flat you're right. I have no idea where the original is anymore

Thanks for the feedback.
Put it to a video on youtube.
Really, I listened to to it again, I rarely do that.

A well know classic from 1964. Vocal by the fantastic Petula Clark. This is for educational purposes only.

I ran past the 16 midi tracks as I added more orchestration. All backing tracks are from the Kronos:

full band gig video of my Who tribute band, playing "Won't Get Fooled Again".

Many thanks to the Purgatory Creek people for the program, it works great in a live band setting, as hopefully you can tell from the video.

Crystal Ship. Originally by the Doors featuring a great vocal by Jim Morrison.

This song was the ‘ B side’ of their classic 45 record hit Light my Fire. I re-arranged it and created/played all backing instrument.

I enjoy songs from the 60's/70's. I think they have excellent melodic structure and emotion.

Kronos makes all this possible. I cannot overstate how great our favorite keyboard is for music creation.

Here is my latest recording:

Sting is the author of this slow song from 1994. Its a song that Sting
sang/performed on his Soul Cages solo CD.

My version is all instrumental, no vocal. I changed all the instruments
in my version and emphasized the romantic ballad theme.

I used the Kronos Japanese piano and cello to capture the melody or Stings
vocal. I think that translated well into the romantic ballad theme.

My recordings are generally recorded ‘ hot ‘. IOW, you won’t need any
bass or treble on your home or car stereo. Suggest you keep the volume
down, initially.

It should sound good, as is, on most smart phones.

Song is 100% Kronos using the SEQ. I used 15 midi tracks and 1 audio.

This is my unconventional take on the classic Journey/ Steve Perry song, Don't Stop Believin'.

The classic arrangement or reproduction of Don't Stop Believin' has been done countless times. I decided to slow down Perry's soaring vocal and change the song structure. I enjoyed the experiment , adding all new parts, etc.

Glen Campbell is a musical influence and source of inspiration. Some years ago, I was inspired to make this instrumental of his classic- Wichita Lineman. Glen, your legacy will live forever.

Hi, nicely done. Very interesting soundscape.

Would you mind setting up a .wav output of the song for d/l? I have a high-end sound system and although the mp3 sound ok, I would hear the difference in quality with a .wav file.

Den
