Can Government spy on me via Kronos?

The Kronos can be connected to the internet via a USB ethernet adapter, and someone has previously posted about setting up a WiFi adapter in the Kronos:

Also, check out the Global | Basic | Network menu page. All the settings are there.
Having said that, the Kronos is not capable of mysteriously phoning home, or connecting to the internet, unless the user wants it to and buys the necessary hardware to do that.

You have put yourself in far more danger with your government by posting here than if you played your Kronos. I think you should just play your keyboard and stay away from political matters.19naia wrote: But still i don't find it easy to trust the government no matter how mixed up i get the details of their activities.
I knew i could bring it to the forum and get straightened out. Lots of smart people here.
I haven't been so far gone by all the stories out there to the point of sitting at my kronos with a tin foil wizard cap on. Although that sounds like a good stage prop if i ever get a stage gig.

Just for fun

You have a good point there but i had to check first before just keeping my head down in the synth as if it was the one device at home not able to be tapped remotely for spying on me while i do nothing worth spying on.ando727 wrote:You have put yourself in far more danger with your government by posting here than if you played your Kronos. And then, what happens when i get my laptop hooked up to Kronos via USB for midi and audio? I guess my laptop is where all the spying risks are at.
And having kronos has set me up for being bound to using a laptop.
I just found out also ,that the law has been passed here to allow my internet provider to sell my Korg forums browsing history. That includes that even buying from Korg store will fall under browsing history and they may know what EX libraries i bought or audtitoned. Sad that the internet provider gets paid for selling the browsing history i generated rather than ME getting paid.
File sharing my Kronos based song creations that i have rights to? That goes out under browsing history and will the file itself be safe from pirates buying it up cheap as it sends through the web browser? Will i see my music piece that i slaved away on, using kronos, will i see it one day via another browser as the backing music for a cheap triple X flick?
I can keep my head down and face my workstation, but still doesn't stop the stray thoughts of whats going on behind my back.
I will try to keep myself oblivious to nonsense but sometimes it comes to town and takes over when you least expect.
