Tempo change for Imported wav. loop or samples (Electribe 2)

Can we change the tempo of imported wav. loops in Korg Electribe 2 sampler?

I don't think you can change the tempo of a loop as a whole but if you slice the loop and change the tempo of your track in the electribe you may be able to alter it that way. Not sure how smooth it would be as I haven't tried it myself, I guess that would depend how radically you change the tempo.

Thanks for your reply. I'm still looking for a sampler drum machine having this fill-in and variation option (plus MIDI Sync) but didn't find yet. Alesis SR 16 and Akai XR20 does that but it doesn't import samples.

Would the octatrack timestrech function do the job?

The Octatrack does spring to mind. The fill in button isn't there but the crossfade has so much to distract from its absence .100s of assignables , incuding beat repeats.
There's a new smaller (£600) drum machine by elektron too. Digitakt. May be worth checking.

Thanks for the reply. Elektron Octatrack is quite pricy, $1299. I was trying to find if Maschine MK2 can do the trick.

I'm nor familiar with their other machines.The Octatrack is the only one with the crossfade. I have a feeling they don't - as that Sr16 fill feature isn't so common. Elektron seq are excellent though.
OP1 does have basic sequencers that can fill .The Finger seq can behave nice like this,but its a very basic seq ,designed for capturing ideas straight to tape, rather than stringing complex sequencers (without commiting to tape). Much more expensive than Sr16 & totally diff flow. Capable for drums though ,as well as all sorts.

Check out the volca beats or sample.
I seen a YouTube clip of (cuckoo using) the volca fm, switching patterns half way through if I'm not mistaken. Very similar feature to fill switching of Sr16, maybe not quite as elegant.
