I have this one and it's awesome ... Kid Nepro EXs83 Electric Guitars

He also has a new one which I have not tried yet but would be worth checking out ... Kid Nepro EXs180 Electric Guitars

I'd like also to add that WavesArt has another Kronos Sound library release concerning 3 flagship
Electro Acoustic Guitars that you might have missed in "See More" tab !

Anyone done any demos of this bank? I find Kid Nepro demos very difficult to judge as they are a mix of so many sounds, i want to hear the patches individually.

I like the sound of your work Anthony, the problem is due to the EX licensing and being someone that often buys and then sells my synths $220 Euro for samples if just not justifiable if I were to ever sell my Kronos and get a Kronos 2 for example I'd have to buy it again. :-(

In this case I'd never want to invest that kind of money into a sample bank.

Is there any way of owning the banks and using them on other Kronos that you own?

Are you sure for that ? Guitars Suite contains 11 high rated guitars = 20 euros per guitar , definitely a low cost per guitar !
On the other hand , I have announced in the past that 2 Kronos owners and members of korgforum have a 50% discount
for a second library license !
Sorry but the case that you want to sell your Kronos (really bad move) do not concern sound developers and if you
want to upgrade to Kronos 2 then do it first and then purchase extra libraries !

Thanks Bald Eagle! Yes, check out EXs180 when you get a chance. Lot’s of new stuff in there that we did not cover in EXs83.

Im not saying they arent worth it if you actually owned them, every other brand I've owned, Kurzweil, Yamaha etc I have banks still that Ive bought previously that when I upgrade I can still use them. Korg is the only brand where you have to re-purchase the banks every time you upgrade or move away from music (in my case I sometimes have a break for a year or two) then buy new gear again when returning to the scene.

For that reason I tend not to spend much on Korg banks, otherwise Im basically throwing money away or locking myself into a synth for years even if something new comes out if you can understand that.

Cheers

theshinenz , I see that you have a point here , but you also have to understand that this is the new order of things anymore in advanced
workstations , it's the rule of VST distribution and Korg just adopted as first this that all others that will remain in "game" will follow soon !
I strongly believe for many years , that this is the future of flagship worksations ... purchasing superior OS features and hardware
with elementary factory sound resources and buying separately the sound libraries you actually need !
Also no other brand has ever changed 3 production models , providing users the option to upgrade the old generation model in the latest
only via OS ... even Kronos 1 can be upgraded to latest Kronos 2 flawlessly using a set of bigger SSD & DDR Ram !

WaveArt EXs are great !
I have Guitar Suite, Strings Suite and Brass & Vocals Suite and I love them all.
Most realistic sounds I ever heard on keyboard, DNC sounds in combi are amazing.
Not cheap that's for sure but so so worth it.
Korg Kronos 2 61, Korg Pa4X 76, Korg Pa600, Yamaha PSR-S770
Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2, Behringer X1622USB
Yamaha HS8 and Behringer MS40 Studio Monitors
Apple Logic Pro X

One could argue that if you buy a VST and then sell that computer, you can transfer the licence to your new machine rather than dump your licences and start again - so I don't think it is justifiable the way things are....not that I am planning to sell my Kronos anytime soon ;-)

The company has however given me a choice to upgrade it so I am grateful Korg are looking after their customers in that regard.

The beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it *may* be justifiable BUT....

The problem is we can't even try these libraries by Wavesart like we can try other Kronos libraries - so yes in that case it is not justifiable to give our dosh when we cant even be sure that these libraries will be a significant improvement over my present stuff - as there is no trial and this is outside of how Korg sells third party libraries......

Just my point of view...

The fact is that wavesArt do not provide demo support and that won't change , but my own point of view as a client Musician
is that I dislike covering poor sounds framed in songs demos that are nicely DAW processed , where nothing is common
with bared sounds that a user will easily discover , when WavesArt already provides a demo of bared instrument sound
that you do not have to be a studio expert to understand the excellent development of this sound , but just a talented
Musician that really knows what is the native instrument sound that he is looking for.
Also those are the customers that WavesArt wants to deal with and let the rest selling their VST libraries with their PC
As I said , my point of view ...
