Ipad garageband cubasis etc

Dear all,

I was wondering what your experience is with ipad sequencers in combination with the Kronos, like Garageband, Cubasis, etc

GarageBand is good for quickly laying down tracks / loops etc, but is not as powerful as Cubasis or auria pro.

They are more limited due to restriction on iOS in general than otherwise.

Cubasis has many nice features, especially time stretching of audio etc as well track freeze for quick bouncing of any IAAF soft synths./ routings and midi out , which can be a very big part of workflow. I mainly record to audio tracks directly so I don't need advanced midi features anyway, unless i intend to automate some Params later or in another iteration.

GarageBand came free with my iPad, Cubasis I purchased along with its IAP's.
I tend to use both at times.

kronos should become audio source/output once you connect it via lightning adapter.

under routing in cubasis choose stereo input. If that is what you are asking.

Thanks for your suggestion, however after trying the recording part does still not work
This is what I did:

- Camera kit connection
- Kronos global audio:
- audio in, usb1 and 2 set to L/R
- audio output L/R Bus "off"
- Cubasis:
- new project empty tracks
- checked setup audio, Kronos as audio device is visible, no gain imput marker to adjust
- insert audio track,
- routing: stereo input 1+2 and stereo output 1/2
- selecting "channel" of audio track, record is armed,
- playing Kronos and nothing is visible or happens , when I uses an ipad app as input (eg launchpad) then the dB bar of the "channel" selection moves

I found the issue
I need to select/insert midi track instead of audio track, the result is I believe a combined midi/audio track, I can hear a recorded Kronos sound and see a piano roll
