Changing style rhythms leaving keyboard sounds unchanged.

Post by jar125 »

Is it possible to select a style, adjust the sounds - volumes etc of lower and upper 3 through 1 sounds, and effects - save those new settings, then select a different style with a different rhythm, bass and drums, but hold the previous lower and upper 3 through 1 sounds constant and unchanged? Re-creating preferred right-hand sounds for every new style is very time-consuming, and I never seem to quite create the same sound combinations.

thanks for any help

Yes, you can save it (the sound combination) to a performance. Make the settings you want (sounds, volumes, effects, etc.) then from the top right menu, select Write Performance.

You can also make sure the STS Mode button is OFF. This doesn't change any Upper or Lower sounds or volumes or effects when you load a different style.
