HAHAHAHA Greg!
and Robby don't think the "sounds set" has changed. Only the addition of some features in 3.1. And the lighter keys on an 88 KRONOS.

Just brilliant ! Really !

A new mode and very useful.

Now... When in Quick Split or Quick Layer mode, push on Timbre/Track and you can use the Solo buttons and Sliders #1, #2 and #10 instead of the screen for the sounds and drum track volumes, etc.

Did I mention brilliant ?

:)

Korg has made so easy I am almost disappointed ;)

Now I have to slow down my fingers and give Combi mode a rest

I think I might be a little dense (it is the first day of the holidays for me, to be fair; my brain has possibly gone on hiatus). But where are the release notes? I can't see them in the download, and I can't see them on the download page on kong.comr

Just amazing what is possible with this keyboard. About the only thing I really wish it did was break the drum part out of the restriction of a program or combination and make it run on it's own. That way we can start a drum groove and switch combinations and programs on top of the groove without it stopping.

In this NEW split/layer page it would be good to have idrectly access to a button going to the effects for these layers or split programs. Just that
trees are going fast.

The new update is awesome!!!
Before this update i had created tons of programs, but only 23 custom combis.
With the new program layer/split function i will be making boatloads of combis.
There is just something about the way the new function works that makes
creating combis fun, fast, and somehow more creative.
I was briefly testing it out and i was amazed that i was able to slap programs together with super fast ease.
There is a fun unexpected element to this new update.
It gets you there so quick you will create way more interesting combis.
KK said it best.
BRILLIANT.

Thank you very much KORG, for this unexpected, very fun and usefull christmas present.

And what about the add of 30mb of available RAM? It is a nice addition too to fill the Kronos with more samples! If only we could have more user free slots in programs...

Thank you Korg - as always a brilliant update, available for free to us Kronos players. Two Kronos' updated - the splits and layers are fabulous, a great idea. The free'd up RAM will be useful too, as well as some of the other fixes.

Brilliant!
