Cubase 8.5 and Taktile 49 Moving Fader Also Selects Track

I posted on Cubase forum too but have not had an answer. When I move a fader on the Taktile 49 it selects the Cubase track which is not what I want. I want to be able to move a fader for volume but not have the entire track get selected. Not sure if this is a KORG thing or a CUBASE thing.

Moving an encoder for pan works just fine, ie, I can twist pan on track 7 but track 2 remains selected. When i move a fader, the fader moves and the focus moves/selects the track. do not want.
