I have a quick question, and I think I already know the answer.
When using the step jump feature (in hold or latch mode) is there any way to release it and get the sequence to automatically re-start at step 1? Or would you need to have perfect timing ad ensure you're using step 1 and release it at that point immediately?
Thanks
Luke

Re: Step jump - start from step 1
I hope I am understanding your question correctly. I have been trying to work on this ever since I discovered it. My findings is that it will start at different spots however it seems to me that when I reactivate the hold (through momentary) everything is quantized in time. I can't be sure though. My timing has really improved since I got the Electribe. Was this what you were asking about our could you clarify more>colulizard wrote:I have a quick question, and I think I already know the answer.

Oh wow...okay. Not exactly what I was thinking.
Based on Roblabs said hit shift+play and it will start from bar 1 but instead of having to fight with releasing all your fingers use the momentary hold trick by holding down for your Step jump then shift+play, don't hold the shift key, let that go. After words you release the one finger have on the kaoss pad. I hope this makes sense. It will take practice BTW. If you are still holding the shift key the time you release the Kaoss pad then you will put your hold state into latch. This is very tricky.

Surely a simpler approach is to just hit pad 1 when you want it to trigger from the start?SMK wrote:Oh wow...okay. Not exactly what I was thinking.
