Hi All,
I'm using my Electribe to control a Microkorg and Mininova. The problem is when I change pattern on the Electribe the Mininova changes Pattern too. On the Microkorg there was a MIDI filter option to prevent this. I'm not finding the same options on my Mininova. Is this a setting that needs to be made on the Electribe?

You dont state which electribe, but AFAIK they all have a filter. looks like PCEN on the display, turn "P" off for transmit. Consult the manual for your model for more details.
Korg gear I own:
electribes EA-1,ER-1,2x ES-1, EMX-1SD, ESX-1SD
DW 8000, Wavestation SR, KP3, Volca Beats, Keys MS 2000 R
Korg gear I've used extensively:
M1, Triton Pro-x 88, SG-1D, NanoPad, NanoKontrol

Welcome to the club.

Since there's no way to do this on the electribe2 itself, you have to filter out the Program Change messages.
I use this :

But there are other options.

I think I'm too late for the OP but maybe this post will help other people.
I've encountered this problem too but I've tried a very simple solution. I've set the MiniNova on a different MIDI channel compared to the one set as global midi channel on the Electribe 2. Everything worked fine. I've been able to sequence the MiniNova without unwanted patch changes when changing patterns on the E2.
ps: of course, if you already have your sequence on a specific MIDI channel, it could be faster and easier to change the Electribe global midi channel to a different one than move parts around.
