Five volcas into four inputs

Post by splinters »

I have all four Volcas and bought a mini mixer off eBay which has four 3.5mm inputs and one 3.5mm output switchable between moni/stereo.
I am anticipating buying the FM and have designed a rack to hold them all.
I currently use 3.5mm cables same as the sync ones into the mixer but what would be the best way to add the Fm?
Without knowing if its stereo, but the Volca sample is, would I need some sort of Y cable to use on, say the beats and bass?

Do not, ever, under any circumstances, sum 2 different units in to one mixer input. You need a bigger mixer.
01/WFD - M3 - MS-20 - Volca Bass - Volca Beats - Volca Keys - electribe emx2 - Monotron - KP3+ - iPad with too many Korg apps

Moog Sub 37 - Arturia Microbrute - Roland Gaia SH-01 - Boss DR660 - Akai S1000 - Akai S01 - Yamaha RM1x - Roland SP-404SX

Decided to stick with the four Volcas (and inputs) so no problems.

I went for one of these - even with 5 volcas, there is still a channel spare. Plus I like faders...

And it's battery powered, so you can take it anyway, as you can the volcas...
