controlling ESX1 with MicroKORG?

Hello there,

I have recently got my hands on an Electribe MX 1 SD, btw absolutely love it: great synth/drum machine. However I don't like playing melodies on the 1-16 buttons it there anyway of using a midi keyboard to play notes instead? The only keyboards I've got are the MicroKORG and an old crappy Casio. Does anyone know a way to do this? I've looked in the instruction manual but can't find it.

Micro korg midi out to EMX midi in
Then you will need a way to listen to both at the same time, like a mixer

ypu have to set the MIDIchannel of the micro korg (or CASIO), to the channel of the synth part you want to play. by default I believe they are channels 1-5.

then MIDI out of microkorg to MIDI in of electribe.

Thanks very much for the help: it is working now, and I have numbered the MicroKORG's keys to correspond with the notes on the EMX1.
