Kronos Editor Question

Post by Charlievv »

Hello All,
I am running the Editor { latestVersion} on a MAC OS. I have two startup disks that I run it on depending on my needs for the day. Problem: On Startup Disk A, The editor works fine and when I call for a new patch { Either Mode} it shows it on the mac and the Kronos responds accordingly. When I do the same operation on Startup Disk B, The patch does not change either on the Kronos or the Mac. I need to select the new patch and while the selection mode is up onscreen I need to choose Get Program, comb or whatever I am looking to change, from the file menu to execute the change. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening on SU Disk B? I reloaded the Editor software from scratch on Disk B and no help. Also, When using the Editor on the mac, and choosing different screens EG: Play:Karma GE, the Mac displays the GE page but the Kronos stays on the program Page. Is this the way it should be? I thought Possibly the Kronos should be displaying the same info as what I am seeing on the Mac.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Thank you all

Don't know... but do you have the latest drivers installed on BOTH startup disks?

There is mode synchronization between the editor and the Kronos but there isn't page synchronization. You should not expect the editor to follow page changes made on the Kronos.

Assuming that you have the same version installed on both drives, the behaviour should be the same. However, there are program options that change how some program initialization is handled as well as input. You should verify that all of your Preferences options are exactly the same. This is likely the issue.

Is there page sync with Midi Quest Pro?

No, there isn't. The Kronos doesn't send page change information and while initial designs attempted this, we found that it wasn't feasible for a number of technical reasons.
