Volca keys problem (no sound or react. — probably defective)

Post by haup »

Got my long awaited volka today, but it turns out to be defective — when turned on both with power supply or batterries, the upper row of knobs light out, and sustain one blinks, but there is nor any sound produced nor any reaction to function buttons. Is it definitely defective, or is trying to say something (like, you know, trouble message with defined meaning on some hardware)?
I'm not sure should I return it and wait another two months for a delivery (I live in, ehem, Siberia), or is there some way to locate and solve a problem?

Siberia! no kidding! I thought it was cold here, -16˚F you must be colder there.

A long wait or not you probably would be better served to return it for a replacement. Have you looked inside for anything obviously broken?

Don't open it up.....you'll void the warranty, send it back.
