wavestation Micro tune Help

Post by ryancool »

hello, I bought the wavestation and it is regestered. it's running well, But when I tried to go to Global to create a micro tuning scale by changing the tune of a single note ( for example the note A to minus 50 or -50) nothing happens it still playing the not as if nothing been changed. please help me fix that as I wanted to create my own scales. thanks

ryancool- creating a scale is one thing, but what you have to do then is go into the edit mode of a performance. You'll see the patches involved in creating it and on the far right un Details, towards the bottom, you will see Scale. Change it to whatever scale you have edited- say, User 1 and your edited one will now determine the pitch played. Hope that helps. Each patch can have its own scale so obviusly, you might to change all involved to User 1 to have consistency amongst them.

Thank you rock machine. I will try that when I go home tonight. However micro tuning is straight forward in other legacy like M1 and polysix....etc. you just hit Global. And play with the values up/ down to change the micro tune value. And that's it. Thanks I will try

Thanks again Rock Machine, I tired to do it and it worked but only on one note on the keyboard scale!! how could I change a note ( for example A= -50) but make all the A on the keyboard= -50 ? on the other legacy, When you change A note it will effect all A notes. thanks
