Does Pa4x transfer audio signal over USB for Mac recording?

Post by Hal2001 »

Hi,
My Korg Kronos currently connects to Logic Pro X via USB directly to my Mac (iMac) without any separate hardware interface device with excellent audio results. Will I be able to connect the Pa4x directly over USB to my iMac with no additional hardware audio interface in the same way so I can record both Midi and Audio?
Thanks much.
Hal

No, :?

No audio over USB function
No digital output
No internal wave recording (only mp3)

Get you the best ADC to re-convert the analog signal into digital

Thanks Laurance.

I currently have a Yamaha Mixer going into the Mic/Line Inputs on my Kronos. I'll try bringing the 1/4" audio cables out from the Pa4x and plug them into my mixer and use my Kronos as a temporary audio interface, since the Kronos is plugged into Logic Pro X via USB already. If the sound is not great then I'll, for sure, get a separate audio interface for the pa4x. Hal
