Redesigned Korg Kronos webshop!

Post by DoubleM »

I guess they finally relaunched their website!!! :D

It´s still no revelation, but at least doesn´t "kill" my pc as it did before.
Pretty static and loading contents only when clicking on them.
Well, better than nothing.
Cheers, Michael

Good news for me and I'm sure for the vendors who put so much effort into their sound libraries too. I had stopped going there because it was so bad before. Now I'll go shopping again.

One odd thing was on my iPad I was touching the menu buttons but it wasn't loading the pages for the other vendors even though the button was hilighted when touched. Discovered you had to touch the actual text for it to work and then the page load was immediate.

Bravo!!!

So much faster, I thought I was at the wrong site!

Excellent job so far. I haven't tried to purchase anything as yet. We'll see how that goes.

When we first started the store, there were only a few titles, so the original structure worked just fine. There are so many titles now that it's completely exceeded our expectations - and also became a bit overwhelming for the first-generation infrastructure. A good problem to have, but a problem nonetheless!

The webmaster has now done a great job of making the store much, much more responsive. Browsing for new sounds should now be much faster. Click on the "Learn More" text for any given library for detailed information, SoundCloud examples, and more.

I'm glad that you're appreciating it, and I'll pass that on to him!

Perfect.
The webmaster has done wonders with this. It's way faster and doesn't pull a ton of RAM any more.

Regards
Sharp.

Checked it out last night and wow that's a world of difference.

Minor quibble is if you select something like Purgatory Creek, click "Learn More" on one of the libraries, then click the back button, you're no longer on Purgatory Creek - it takes you back to the root and you have to go back to Purgatory Creek from the menu again. Not the end of the world, but something that might be fixed pretty easily...?

Great to be able to use this. Downloaded my free K2 EX19, no problem getting activation key from checkout - needed to log in and see my registered K2 first to succeed. Tomorrow the real fun begins, buying a usb stick big enough to copy it to K then loading it without filling RAM and overwriting progs/combis. Another read of the disk sections in the guides coming up.

Many thanks Webmaster. Hopefully profits from sound/prog/combi shopping will soon justify your efforts. I may even buy myself an Xmas present.

Given up trying to play them, now I just play with them.

I've updated the resource thread at the top of this part of the forum.
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=83231

The links now allow you to go directly to a specific developer of your choosing.

Kind regards
Sharp.
