Problem micro SD slot
I have a problem with microSD card.
Korg does not recognize it.
The PC is working properly.
FAT32 format is correct.
Korg format function failed.
The same micro SD reader in the USB Front working properly.
Format the USB connection is correct.
Insert Micro SD card into a micro SD slot and problems. Micro SD is not available!
I want to reinstall the OS. Which can be downloaded ??
Maybe it corrects the problem.
The fault is in the system is not in a micro SD card.
Please help.
OS download is not available anywhere!

On the supplied DVD, the system is not!
On DVD is only manual and USB MIDI driver.
On the Korg Pa900, Korg and Pa3X LE Pa4X micro SD slot is functionally unlocking positioning or as an additional memory expansion. !!
This feature let's worked about 17 days.
Today it stopped working.
It can not be repaired in the home conditions.

Re: Problem micro SD slot
I have a good idea why Antony. The OS is still pretty volatile right up to the first shipments, and the DVD's have to be made well in advance of the 1st shipments so they don't have the opportunity to put the production OS on the 1st DVDs. My PA600 came with the OS on the DVD, but I bought it 6 months after the 1st product shipped.AntonySharmman wrote:That's true , customers Pa3X official DVD do not include OS ...Thoraldus wrote:Isn't the OS on the DVD that came with the PA4X?

That's not unusual. It takes some time for these things to percolate up through the system and get approved for release. Could also mean there is a priority update making it's way through the system.korgpask wrote:The operating system is not yet anywhere even on the official site.

Any chance you have a pre-production unit. Where was it purchased from? A dealers floor model???korgpask wrote:photo 1:

Dear korgpask,
We did some additional tests, and all the microSD cards we tried did work fine. They were formatted and immediately recognized. Here are some points to stress out:
- NEVER insert a microSD card while the instrument is turned on. This might eventually break the card and the internal reader.
- Be sure to try with different models and brands, and see what happens. We tried with the most common brands, but there are many on the market.
Please see my private message. Knowing the serial number will help us track back the hardware.
Best regards,
Paolo
