I am learning about this new PA900 and have few SET file and every time I load different SET files it overwrites user and other locations (I think some performance as well.. not 100% sure. need to check).
Is there a way to get around and load one SET file after other but not lose info?
If "Not", can I load one SET file and move the sound and Style locations (not sure how) on other user space?
Is there a way to dump/decode all style, sound name and their location from SET file using computer?
Thanks.
Dump all sound and style info (name/location) from SET file

When you're in media you just have to keep on 'drilling' down on each Set file until you reach each element inside and then load to any location. If you load a Complete Set it will overwrite the original location that it was saved in.
For example you have a Set containing styles with USER 1, USER2 and USER3. You want to just load USER1 to a Favourites Bank , USER2 any location really. Drill down to that Set and you will be given the option to Load that Set in any location. You can further open the Set and load individual styles. The same goes for other Sets containing Performance data etc. Basically just keep opening until you can't go any further. Hope that helps!
Just one very important thing. NEVER load Global from another keyboard OS or your keyboard will become inoperable.

Thanks for your reply. Pardon my very limited knowledge of PA900..still reading manuals and trying to understand.
One more question, I have downloaded .SET files from this forum with some custom sound and style and performance and for example I do see directory structure with those info but only at .PCG level and not individual sound name on my computer when I explore the file. I assume it may display sound names as well on Korg when I explore and will let me save individual sound but is there a way to explore those name on computer from .SET file.
and second question is if some performance is linked with some user sound location and if I save individual sound at different location, what will happen to performance data structure?

Question 1, You can view sounds [Instruments] on the computer using a Program called PA Librarian. You can view Styles, Pads etc using this Viewer. This program has not been updated for quite a while but works for my pa3xLe so should be OK for your pa900... See screenshot.khichadi wrote:Thanks for your reply. Question 2, If you save any Data in a different place then it will not be picked up. You would have to re-link it.
