Problem w/ "Export all Samples" after firmware hac

Not exactly.. My card was good. It was the extra data on the card related to the OS hack. On further investigation, when the data was saved on the computer and the card was formatted in the ES2 the card the export process started to work.Tarekith wrote:So it was just a bad card?

But did you slice them on the electribe afterwards ??sauce wrote:Export all is working with sliced, truncated, looped samples created in Ableton and compiled with the ElectribeSamplerEditor. Basically, just to be safe in the future, I will be using Ableton to compile my samples, then exporting into a folder one-by-one. A lot of work to be sure, but it beats losing hours of work slicing and perfectly-looping, not to mention normalizing and tuning. Thanks for all your help, guys.
im still having the freeze problem.
And i really feel that a sampler which cant slice is a rather useless sampler.
I'm timeslicing, looping, truncating, renaming, exporting .all samples left, right and centre, all in the Electribe with NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER, until i edit start/end points AND THEN timeslice the sample whose start/end points i have just edited. When i try to export all samples after performing these two operations on a single sample, that's when the export all samples operation gets stuck.
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.
Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.

I am able to perform all functions listed above with the *new* card, but after attempting using the older, original card there are some hangups. The new card is a 16gb micro SD w/ adapter from Toshiba.apapdop wrote:I'm timeslicing, looping, truncating, renaming, exporting .all samples left, right and centre, all in the Electribe with NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER, until i edit start/end points AND THEN timeslice the sample whose start/end points i have just edited. Edit: I actually have a 16gb card, not a 32 as stated in the original post.

Dumb question -
How do you go Exporting allsample *between* the 2 operations.
ie -
1 - Edit start/End - export allSample -
*then try*
EDIT - Re-Import that all sample file....
2 - Timeslice - export allSample.
...??? No problem??

This actually will probably work because, from what I have heard, exporting a truncated sample *actually* truncates the sample on the card and saves it.1_inch_punch wrote:[try] Exporting allsample *between* the 2 operations.

More like.. "Yes, we have, between the lot of us, managed to figure out a way to navigate through this tedious, archaic, barely-functional pile of crap".1_inch_punch wrote:yep - works here - way to go.
