How do I delete tracks?

I cant find this in the manual. I was recording a track and I didnt like how it came out and so tried to delete it. but I cant figure out how to delete it in any way. I tried pushing the Edit key but nothing happens when I'm in Sequencer mode. Help?

I just record over the track with silence for 1-2 seconds and it overwrites all of it.

The delete option can be found in the sequencer [Edit] page.

Press the "menu tab" to delete and to perform anyother track edit function.
