Tutorial – how to build the combi from the scratch.
Hello everybody
Below I would like to present the video, which shows how to create a combi. My combi consists of 4 modules and DrumTrack. Video clip is intended for the beginners – that means this is rather easy and entry level.
This is a first part, next one coming soon. I hope that the information coming from the screen – will be useful for the new users and beginners.

Hello
I would like to propose to watch the 3rd part of video series :
How to build the combi from the scratch.
In the first part :
You have found out how to activate four Karma modules and the DrumTrack.
You have also found out how to assign the operation of modules to individual channels.
In the second part :
You have found out how to program 5 Scenes of Karma
You have found out how to set the effects for IFX and MFX/TFX
Now
I will program the next scenes 6-8.
You will see how to program the buttons and sliders for modules.
One more note for owners of Kronos 2
Below there are settings for Kronos 2, so it all would work properly on your new machines :
Programs used in video Part 1:
CH 10 – program USER BB031 (Drum’n’Bass Kit)
CH 09- program USER F015 (Acoustic Bass 1 SW1)
CH 08- program USER E088 (Fly Studio Guitar )
CH 07- program INT C 030 (E.Piano Dyno Chorus)
CH 06- program USER E036 (Baritone Sax JS-Y Growl)
CH 01 –program USER INT C000 ( KRONOS German Grand)
Programs used in video Part 2:
Combi – INT A 008 ( The Era of Kronos)
Thanks for your comments and welcome also to comment the 3rd part of my video tutorial.

Great thanks to SOP. It will be big help for people with little experience with combi making (I am one of them). I have one wish if it is possible, and not to much complicate for you. Can you upload your combi sample (final ver.) in some server (dropbox or zippyshare) it will be very helpful too. I wish you all best.

Would you please consider making a video that shows how to set up the Kronos as a multi-timbral module via creating a Combi?
You know-- not creating a Combi to play as one massive sound or with parts that you turn on and off, but creating a Combi to trigger via external midi sequencer so that several different sounds are mapped on several different midi channels to create an arrangement.
I think this approach is somewhat different from that used in your video series.
(I don't know-- maybe you see it as essential the same concept.)
I'd especially be interested in how to preserve the effects of the original programs that are imported into the Combi, and any other things to be wary of.
I am making some progress, but am not there yet.

After finishing the video series – such file will be made available on my web site www.soundsofplanet.com
You have talked about few issues in your questions .Iguanadon wrote:Would you please consider making a video that shows how to set up the Kronos as a multi-timbral module via creating a Combi?

Maybe not only the combi mode is the best choice here, maybe better to use Kronos seq mode , which in certain cases can be even more comprehensive solution. Please specify your expectations in more detailed way – what configuration and final effect you would like to achieve .
Cheers
