Heijas, i saw lots of vids with the ipad MS-20 app and the Controller MS-20i.

Ive tried that with the iPad 2 and the ipad mini retina. damn, its not working here. not enough power.......ä
any ideas ?

I bet you are not using the official Apple CCK. I got this issue using a chinese unofficial USB adapter, always had the not enough power message when trying to plug my Akai MPK mini (branded compatible).

I bought the Apple adapter, and everything works flawlessly now.

Hi,
just had the same issue. After serious googling I found that external keyb has to be connected first to CCK. Then turn on the power switch from keyb (if it is "mechanical") and plug the CCK to iPad. Worked for me.
