You're not the first one who complains about this issue when using Logic. I think the issue had something to do with how logic exports the markers. Since you were able to get this work in Cubase, then I assume you're doing everything right.

Yeah. I mentioned a while ago we really need a 'sticky' listing those sequencer/DAW's that do get the Markers right, and those that don't...

Mods?

It will probably save someone no end of time and head-scratching!

Maybe Logic has different types of markers?

This topic was hashed over a few months ago. Do a search...

Essentially, there's no way around it. The way Logic implements Markers means you can't use it for this purpose. I think the OP on the other thread indicated he did the work in Logic, saved as an SMF (and wrote down the bars where the markers were supposed to be) and imported to another app that DID implement the Markers correctly, and added the Markers there and saved again.

Hi,

you didn't mention if you double checked the SMF type.
FYG only SMF type 0 (single track) is accepted.

Hope this help.

Cheers.

There is a solution (by Sam) in the same link you provided, you will see it if you just keep reading the entire topic... :D
