Hi
I bought a pa1x pro second hand ...how do i know if it has the tc-helicon pitch
and voice processing installed. He said he never used the in-built mic or voice processing but the music store might have installed it when he bought it. I dont see anything that say tc-helicon on the keyboard display but i can tick in pitch correction in the check box and voice modeling parameters come up.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Hi,
Many of the TC-Helicon functions such as harmony will work just fine even if the expansion has not been purchased. What won't work is pitch correction on the lead voice. If you try to turn this on and you don't have the expansion if will work for a limiited time but will flash red somthing like "demo mode" on the screen. Personally I thought the basic package without the expansion was more than adequate.
I now have the Pa3x and really there is not that much difference on the voice processor.
Best,
John

Yep, in that 'demo mode' the pitch correction cycles between on and off in 30-second phases, IIRC. I guess it's a sort of 'teaser', if you will. The actual add-on to purchase the pitch correction was discontinued by Korg long ago, so if you wanted it now, minortone, I'm afraid you'd be out of luck on that one.
As John said, the basic package is well adequate. Hopefully all your vocal bum notes occur in the right 30-second segment.

Some time ago I bought a pa1x pro with activated TC-Helicon voice processing option. It worked OK.
After upgrading OS to the last version this option had deactivated.
Unfortunately, the person who sold it to me died. The email with activation key had lost (much time has passed since then)
Has anyone got activated SUG-TC1 option? Can anyone give me some advice? Help me, please.
