Worthwhile videos presented by Alan Parsons

Post by Fransman »

I had posted this a while ago under "Korg arrangers general", but I think it's better placed here under Mastering & Mixing.
By coincidence I discovered this video (series) on YT.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVSF2C7GLLI

I think it's very good material to watch and absorb, as are most of the other videos presented by Alan Parsons.
For instance on EQ, MIDI, compressors and limiters etcetera.

All very interesting background and direct usable information, presented in a very authentic and authoritative manner.

Enjoy!

You're welcome. 8)

In fact it's a SERIES of videos.
EQ, Midi, vocal mixing, guitar, drums, limiters and compressors, loudspeakers, microphones, reverb, delay etcetera etcetera.

See the suggestions YT gives you when you watch the video.
Or use the search function "Alan Parsons compressors" for instance.

I especially liked the video on guitars, by the way...
