Electribe2 1.05 OS
I thought this would be a good topic to start. So far we know that SadPaper has this OS version. If anyone else has this, please post here.
I'd like to know what changes, if any, exist. Any updates to the step sequencer? Shortcuts? Menu? Hopefully SadPaper can contribute or can answer questions as best as possible.

Just tried this and there's a small click/pop glitch as it changes from Chill Wave 3 to Chill Wave 4.tonalVoltage wrote:SadPaper if you still have the presets on your machine, the pattern change delay is pretty evident in some of them for version 1.03. In particular the "Chill Wave 3" to "Chill Wave 4" in presets 185 and 186 is pretty bad. Maybe you can check and see if they at least addressed that in 1.05.
I've emailed Korg support and asked whether I can obtain a Change Log or Release Notes for v1.05 so that we can see what the differences are between that release and v1.03.
From some of the tests I've carried out, and from general usage, I'm beginning to think that it may be just some minor bug fixes or even just a very slightly updated release of code used on a batch of units for the APAC market. I'm not yet aware of any new features, menu options, shortcuts, or significant improvements.
I'm also currently trying to work through an issue with my unit (running v1.05) where I can't get MIDI (via the MIDI ports) working at all, in or out. It works OK over USB with Ableton. I've submitted a support request to Korg to see whether there are any known issues with v1.05 and MIDI support. I will also contact the store of purchase to see whether they can verify against any of their other units in stock. I may need to exchange the unit.
My suspicion is that we'll see a proper code revision around the release of the Sampler (March?) and would expect a bump to v1.1 if significant new functionality or bugfixes are included.

Hey,
Excellent avatar btw. Suits your username nicely.
Don't want to hijack this thread, but did you try without USB being plugged in?SadPaper wrote:I'm also currently trying to work through an issue with my unit (running v1.05) where I can't get MIDI (via the MIDI ports) working at all, in or out.

I've only tried it without USB plugged in. I might try it with USB plugged in to see if it makes a difference!Poumtschak wrote:Hey,

Thanks - the username actually came after the avatar

You're the second one, so there's definitely a new batch in the wild.Groovesoul666 wrote:Mine came with 1.05, so i did not update.
Feel free to post its serial and country of purchase in the dedicated thread :

Some odd behaviour on the MFX.
When using the MFX 16. Odd Stepper on the touch pad. On activation the effect is cool but loop goes out of sync when touch pad is deactivated.
Also experienced the unit "HANGING" with a high pitch sound twice. Had to remove power plug and batteries to reset.
Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like the same bug that is in Step Jump. Does your pattern have swing set to a value other than 0? If it is zero it should work, unfortunately other settings break the timing of your pattern and you have to restart it.Groovesoul666 wrote:Some odd behaviour on the MFX.
