Leds on my PA2XPRO and reply of Korg.es

Post by dovme »

Hi! i have problems with my PA2. Two years after i bought, had some problems with leds and Korg technicians changed something. Don't know if it was the led boards.
3 or 4 Years after reparation started again problems with leds, and now i can't work with that keyboard.

I wrote Korg spain anf they said that i need to pay the reparation. But i know that Korg Italy informs that it was an issue of fabrication and is responsability of Korg.

Can anyone help me? i don't know what to do

That's not good news.

I had this problem and Korg supplied the 2 replacement boards and covered all repair costs (it was out of warranty).

BUT the problem looked like it was happening again even with the replaced boards - the LEDs hadn't failed but I noticed that some of the LEDs had a faint glow when OFF.

I would never buy a used PA2XPro - I couldn't trust it - even if the boards were replaced already.

My replacement boards were shipped from Italy. Maybe because the keyboard has been discontinued for so long that they "hand over" these issues to Korg (assumed you meant Japan?)

You may need to follow it up with Italy again and get some explicit instruction on how to resolve it - they should be able to give you contact details etc…

Good luck

Thanks Pete !

I could send a letter of complaint to the headquarters of Korg . Here in Spain do not accept the responsibility.

Does anyone know how I can pass the complaint to korg central ?

Anyone have the same problem?

I can also throw away the pa2 and make a anti campaign - korg, losing 3,000€ .

:( I'm very sad

I am having problem with my, USA support.
My Pa600 over 100 days since fail under warranty and Service cannot provide me with date when will be fixed.
I contacted Korg Part store , all parts to Pa600 is available within week ready to ship, but customer service telling me in my unit need to replace part (main board) which is special order and they will notify me when will be available.
I am so disappointing.
I love Korg products, but I don't like Korg USA support.

Hi David
Does anyone know how I can pass the complaint to korg central ?
I would write a letter to the Korg Italy team and ask for advice - at worst they should be able to give you the "procedure" you need to follow.

Here in Oz, we have to take our faulty keyboard to the retailer, the retailer witnesses the problem and raises a support ticket - this is then (via the retailer) given the "go-ahead" to repair (service centre) by the Oz distributor - the distributor orders the parts etc based on the findings of the service centre. Costs depend on the problem and warranty of course. If we know it is not a warranty-covered issue then we can take our keyboard directly to the service centre for quote and repair.

Cheers
