i5:
GND: PIN 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20
+5V: PIN 22, 24, 26
Important:
Use only drives with READY-Signal!
It depends on the drive where to find it ;-)
(google for AMIGA replacement floppy)
Make sure the floppy is set to “drive 1”.
Add a approx. 1k – 4k7 pull-up resistor to PIN 34 of the floppy connector (not tested!)
(High must be 2,5 V min.)
or
Remove R31 on i5 board near the floppy connector
Add a 10 k pull-up resistor to PIN 34 of the floppy connector (tested, it works!)
Some drives support this feature:
Make sure that the density select signal on PIN 18 of the i5 floppy connector is
Low > HD
High > DD
or
Short cut the densitiy switch in the floppy drive
Add a 10 k pull-up resistor to PIN 2 of the floppy connector
The floppy is set to 2DD fix!
You can run floppy test procedure as described in the servicemanual.
