USB audio glitches since v3 update
Hi all
Has anyone been experiencing problems with using Kronos as an audio interface since v3?
I've been using the USB audio in to sample sounds into my Kronos from my keyboards in Logic Pro
It works for a while then notes just keep repeating
I've experimented with different buffer sizes and many restarts but the same thing keeps happening
This has only happened since the update.
I don't get this problem from any other audio interface. The Kronos used to do this totally reliably.
The sample rate is matched correctly
Thanks

Check your firmware version. I am far from my studio to check, but maybe Kronos will work properly with this:

This may be of some interest....if it's not already been read.

The later mac computers seem to be prone to some audio problems.
I think it's linked to the core audio somehow.....this can be re -set as a workaround for some, but I've found that carefull setting up of the audio midi setting to be beneficial, even with aggregate devices.
However,I use the Kronos as an input for a PA900 and then both out via usb to the computer,so it may not be comparable to the posted problem, but perhaps the suggestion to examine the audio settings may bring some answers.
If anyone wants a list of my audio settings, which is by no means a guaranteed solution though....please let me know and I shall post them here (or via a pm).
Best Wishes.

Sorry to learn you're still having problems.
Also,my apology for mis reading your post.......hadn't realised you're routing audio into the Kronos via usb, which is something I haven't tried,so know nothing about it.
As you have an earlier mac, this helps eliminating it from being the cause.
The later models from around late 2013 can be troublesome.
The only thing I can suggest is to try a different usb cable and/or another port on the mac.
Best Wishes.

I've already tried different ports and cables but I'm getting the same issues unfortunately
