pa900 display brightness
usually i keep my display brightness at 15. But Today i have observed that it automatically defaults to 100 when switched off and then on again. Has anyone noticed this? or is it an issue with my pa900?

Not yet. Mine is set at 40 and is always the same. After the initial setting, I didn't mess with it. But what I did noticed is that, when you press the Menu button and just touch the wheel, it'll reset to 100 and does not start where your setting is. It might or might not help.

do you remember how did you set the display brightness? I know only one way - press menu button and rotate the value dial. Is there any other technique, by which i can change the display brightness?

That is the only way I know. After you set it and press exit there should be a little window coming up, for a very short time, indicating that it saves the value.
Unless your battery needs to be replaced. I would think you would see it also in your clock setting as well as other settings.
Sorry I can not be of more help with this.

Hi There-
After reading your post, I tested my PA900 and it looks like after upgrading to the new OS 1.2, now the brightness resets itself to 100% every time you boot up. First I thought when I use the factory reset option this happens but after reading this post I tested it and it does it every time you power down and up. I am sure Korg will fix this in the new future OS update.

On my PA900, with OS 1.2 upgrade, it appears to reset to 100 during the boot up. Once it is booted it sets itself back to the set brightness of 40. (My Setting)
Once you press Menu and try to adjust it sets it to 100 immediately for you to adjust to the correct value. Then a gray window will come up with a rotating circle telling you wait a second, while it is saving the value.
After that pressing the Menu button and adjust the value it will adjust from your set value, until you boot up again.
Again, only during the boot up it looks like the brightness is 100. It should set itself to the set value.
So my brightness always stays the same.
