I'm still trying to sort out using this sound editor. It seems that a Sound Editor Manual does exist though. Does anyone have the factory CD-ROM that came with their Radias?
It seems this should be easy to find on-line, but so far I'm not seeing it. However, I did read from the Radias Manual that the CD includes what I think I need.
Reading from the Radias Owner's Manual, page 71 at the bottom of the page--
"8 Press the [PROGRAM] button to return to the Pro- gram mode.
For details on installing the software, making settings after connection, and operation, refer to the owner’s manual for the RADIAS Sound Editor software on the included CD-ROM."
Would someone happen to have time to post or send me this file-- I assume it is a pdf, and I cannot imagine a licensing issue with a manual.
Radias factory CD-ROM includes RADIAS Sound Editor manual?

Hi,
Consider downloading the latest SoundEditor on the Korg support site: http://i.korg.com/SupportPage.aspx?productid=262. Click the section software to download the editor.
At least for Windows, it comes with a set of html help pages about the sound editor.
But once you've read the Radias manual and understand the structure of the synth, the editor should be pretty self explaining.
Have fun.

This is all really confusing to me. I'm sure it makes sense once you know the procedure-- that's my challenge— I don’t know it. I need to see a walk through or read clear instructs in a manual once and see where I'm not looking or clicking... Many things like this seem dirt simple, once we're used to them.
Anyhow, thanks for the suggestion on the manual. Here's the painful part for me-- I had the manual all along and I didn't know it. The name of the html file that gets you to the various sections is called: "Manual-English.html”
Making matters worse, I was mostly looking searching for a pdf file, which is what I tend to find when looking for e-manuals, and which is what I have repeatedly downloaded for the overall Radias Manual while searching for the needed answers.
I hate to sound bitter or such, but it seems like maybe adding the detail that this is the Radias Sound Editor to the title would be helpful.
I peeked into the .pkg file that has the source for the installation. Under Resources, the manual seems to live in "English.lproj" Well, there again, not the most intuitive name.
And from what I can see on the Korg site, again, they don't mention the manual is in the installer. Why not mention it, or even reference the name of what it installs. I’m a big fan of the search feature, but on my Mac, “Manual” brings up an insane number of hits— that’s just not a good name for the file without more detail.
On both the Mac and PC, it creates a folder called "Owner's Manual", inside a Radias folder. Well, I had downloaded the Radias Manual as a pdf. When I saw that before, I thought it was the manual I had downloaded. Maybe if it were in a "Korg Sound Editor" or "Radias Sound Editor folder"…
Enough— I’ll stop my rant. Bottom line is this was hidden I’m plain view, so to speak. and I wasted a lot of time hunting for it and asking others for it. Maybe at some point somebody else will find this thread and locate the manual with less frustration.
Thanks to all who helped with my confusion!

Good it is solved now. It may not have been obvious...
On Windows, after installation, you have a Korg/Radias entry in the Start menu. That entry has 2 links: the editor itself and the index HTML of the help about the editor. I don't remember the name of the link though, as I'm on another PC now.
Bye.
