Velocity Curve feels different 3.0.2
Has anyone noticed a different velocity curve with the upgrade? I find I have to select 6 to get same feel as when I used 4 on previous os versions. I have an original Kronos that had the key bed replaced. What happens to keybed calibration in latest update? Dan?

I noticed almost immediately the After-touch was more sensitive. I used to have to press very hard just to get a little response no matter the settings. I was pleasantly surprised.
And there is a velocity meter in the velocity zones window...

Sweet, I'm anxious to try out those improved aftertouch and velocity responses! I was previously digging through the manual looking for workarounds, and found 2, of which only one works:
1) The manual shows different velocity and response curves when the Global Setting is changed from internal MIDI to external MIDI... didn't seem to make a difference
2) SGX pianos have adjustable Velocity responses... those do allow for more fine adjustments.
Especially looking forward to the lighter pressure needed to activate aftertouch! Thx for posting the news.

My apologies. Please ignore this. When I rebooted(only second boot after os upgrade), all is normal. Operating as per previous osseapea wrote:Has anyone noticed a different velocity curve with the upgrade? ?

Right to multisamples/wave seq area of the main page of hd1 programs, there is the velocity zone graph. Click it and it will take you there..Funky40 wrote:where ?Rigel wrote:And there is a velocity meter in the velocity zones window...

Oh I would LOVE that. I've always felt the Kronos was pretty tough to get AT going. Got held off another week (gigs) to update. Can't wait!DangerDangerwill wrote:I noticed almost immediately the After-touch was more sensitive. I used to have to press very hard just to get a little response no matter the settings.
