Finally upgraded my workstation from a classic 01/W Pro to a Kronos X this past fall (keys took a back seat to my guitar playing for a while). I have a handle on many things, but a few basics are escaping me:
1. Using one of the grand piano sounds... how can I simply add delay effects or mess with reverb? I'd like to create a "haunted" piano type sound with cavernous echos, etc... I would think it would be pretty obvious how to adjust the FX on the piano sounds, but... um... no. Is there a simple thing I totally missed?
2. Some of the Wavestation sounds are quite fantastic -- I have a Wavestation AD in my rack, and also Korg's virtual WS on the laptop. By any miracle is it possible to load Wavestation SysEx data in here? Any "easy" way to translate Wavestation Programs to the Kronos? If there's a good thread, let me know... no need to rehash if this exists here already.
3. Just a gripe -- not a question. Anyone else find it ridiculous how small the program change #s are in a combi? I'm trying to use this as a master controller, setting up program changes... ridiculous! And having to go to a second page to put in bank select messages... it all works, but I really hope they improve this aspect in the upcoming 3.0 software.
