Great Update!
After spending years being pissed at Roland abandoning it's fantom flagship I'm happy Korg is doing a much better job. Wow it's like Korg listened and added all the changes I was hoping for. Editing patches from song or combi mode made my day! I'm already impressed by the pianos so I can't wait to hear what improvements come in this update.
Thank you Korg!

Very excited about the announced updates
Especially look forward to "Load Required Samples"
I hope this refers also to loading just a few multisamples from a larger Userbank if required, and not the entire userbank
Like this, we could select a set a Programs/Combis, and Kronos finds automatically the associated samples
If that is true, I am in heaven..

Editing Programs from within a Combination or Song
You can now jump directly into the editing pages of a Program from within a Combination or Song—while still hearing all of the other Timbres or Tracks. Tweak a step sequencer pattern, for instance, or experiment with patch cables in the MS-20EX.
Seems yes !
Great job Korg... I have recovered the faith. Good job guys!

I'm very excited to see the meters function being added. So many times I've tried to find a sound in a combi and adjust the volume on the fly to help balance out my sounds while playing and it can be very hard to see where that particular sound is in a large combi.
Having realtime meters showing the active sound will make that a no brainer and is very helpful. The fact that they added meters for just about every section is even better. Looking forward to the update!

Super stuff from Korg… unheard of to be offering these kinds of updates this late in the product lifecycle… they could have easily left us at 2.x and started a new product line…
Its certainly not perfect (I still dislike the form based GUI for the synths and I wish that EP1 would get updated) but Overall I feel this Kronos I have has many more years of being at the top of the game…

Very much looking forward to this update, specifically the SGX 2 and patch edit in songs.
Love the colorful setlists too, just in time for Christmas
Cheers !
