MS2000BR is a model? I really should make a complete list of all models of MS2000.

Also note you can use the 'virtual' file from my website to store a lot of banks, then use the Duplicate List function to let PCG Tools find (more or less) equal patches.

Also when you set the copy/paste settings so that duplicate copies are not pasted, you can copy all patches you want in the virtual file and duplicates will not be copied.

Thanks for the link ... and yes, I already checked it ... also added them to the supported models.

Btw ... maybe there is a major bug in the current PCG Tools release regarding copy & paste for MS2000 and microKorg programs ... going to check it this evening probably if I can find some time.

So always make backups before.

New PCG Tools release version 2.0.2 (only fixes for Kronos, MS2000 and microKORG owners):

Thanks to a solution for the problem below I found out there MIGHT be problems when copy/pasting programs from the Korg MS2000 and microKORG.

Also a problem for the Kronos is solved that the set list generator only shows one of the new expanded program banks.

So all Kronos and especially MS2000/microKORG owners: please download version 2.0.2 of PCG Tools at http://pcgtools.mkspace.nl
For all other users there are no changes (and they do not have to upgrade).

Since this release is important for MS2000/microKORG owners:

In version 2.0.2 there were some installation problems, therefor today I revert the download back to 2.0.1. However, now 2.0.3 is available for upload, with the bug fixes of 2.0.2 and the installation problem fixed (hopefully for everyone). See http://pcgtools.mkspace.nl

Now none of my old .syx files will open without crashing the app immediately. App event log or the resultant .wer file doesn't really have anything useful in it.

It's easy to recreate the issue by either using a previous sysex dump from an actual machine or downloading one of the "free synth sounds" files from the soundware section on the KORG site

Thank you for the notification ... indeed when developing the M1 I accidentally ruined a bit of the microKorg/MS2000 code.

I just have released version 2.0.4 which should work.

I don't know if I took those sounds, but I tested about 500 files (only if reading and some basic operations does not crash it) and those are ok.

I just checked and the default installer loads both files from Korg correctly (and all other supported files for MS2000/microKorg too).

The most important items are:
- Program reference changer, useful for changing references to multiple programs from combis (or set list slots). I will add later in the KorgForums site and facebook more information how to use this feature.
- Automatic pasting of programs used by combis/set list slots with programs having a similar name but not mandatory to be equal.
- Added color/transpose controls for editing set list slots (Kronos only).
- Various bug fixes (like copy/pasting set list slots for Kronos.
