Kronos file system / structure, sample data, save all

Post by Knightshift »

HI,

i have a question concerning the Kronos file system / structure regarding the sampling content. Recently I wanted to free up some space on my kronos deleting some of my older files. I do always have different versions of my work on the SSD eacht in a separate folder and I do always use „save all“ to save my work.

So I just deletet the folder with the oldest version, let’s name it „OLD“ and when trying to load the newest version, I got the message „ KSC is incomplete due to uninstalled EXs:OLD (fortunately I had a backup on my PC).

When opening the newest userbank.KSC, I see a list of EXs1, EXs2 ... and at the end the „OLD“ folder marked red. So obviously, there is a kind of link to the sample data that was stored in the deleted folder. After restoring the folder from a backup again, everything works fine again.

I always thought, when using „save all“ really everything is saved but obviously I was wrong. What do I have to do, to really store everything without any „link“ to former data so I can delete my older files?
