Can I increase the length of a preset?

Hi all,

I've bought the Korg monoPoly VST and several addon preset banks. For the house music I create, I'm trying to replace my existing 4 bar buildup 4 bar decay wind whoosh sound with a preset called stormFX on my list.

However, the preset (from my memory) only lasts 2 bars before it starts to decay. Is there a setting on the VST which will slow the processing of the effect down so I can stretch it to the more usable 8 bar phrase length? Or should I be looking for another way to achieve this, such as instead of holding a note for 8 bars, hold a note every 2 bars with the pitch of each incrementing? (the latter not yet successfully achieving the desired result)
