Korg M1 & Pro Tools 11

Post by wildstar5 »

I bought this plug-in because of the 64 bit version, and Pro Tools 11 doesn't recognize it. I am frustrated

Korg didn't do AAX versions of their plugins yet.

Use a different DAW, then. You could, for example, ReWire Reaper into ProTools.

I'm in the same boat. I get around this by running KLC standalone and use soundflower to route the audio and internal mac routing midi. It's kind of a pain but at least it works.

There is a very good workaround.

DDMF.eu has Metaplugin for $39 where you can multi-host for AUs/VSTs inside ProTools. Incl. MIDI and 100Parameter Host Automation.
Also from Blue Cat Audio there is the MB7 Mixer and Patchworks that work the same way. But I have them not tried yet.

I am using the Metagplugin inside PT11 and only very few VSTs have GUI display problems, Ohmforce only for now, from my collection.
The KLC (don't have the M1, though) works great also.

PS: there are demos available for all those.

Great to know. Thanks I will try the Metaplugin.
