Pitch question

Post by Akos Janca »

Hi, on the mini the pitch of VCO2 is equal to VCO1 when the knob is not exactly in the center position but slightly towards the left (see attached enlarged pict). Anybody experiencing this? Thank you.

Mines off more than that so I wouldn't worry.

Suggest that you get an oscilloscope - I use for example http://www.zeitnitz.de/Christian/scope_en

Than try all the different MS20mini-settings and learn what´s going on inside this beauty....

If you remove the knob from the shaft you instantly get an idea of the quality league that the ms20m is in.
My advice, just leave it. Your ears tell you what's in tune.
My current Korg gear. MS20 Mini... & now the .... Oh, maybe not !
...Had a few other Korg things over the years.

Thank you all for the help. Reading about the calibration on the other forum it seems to be better to leave it for now. It works well, anyway.
I love this little beast, my first analogue.
