It's not about "hacking", it's about not losing functionality that should have been there in the first place. Being forced to do ethernet over USB is plain DUMB. Yeah, it makes it easy for basic users as an OPTION (And that's cool), but for those of us more capable it's nice to be able to do it the RIGHT way.
As far as "Hacking": Yes, some of us would like to fully exploit the hardware once the time comes the Kronos is no longer supported. There's nothing wrong with that. Honestly, I REALLY wish there was an API released for 3rd party devs for the Kronos so it could be even more extensible, but this is veering off into a completely different conversation not appropriate here.
