The way I did it was by using the OpenElectribe Editor to make an empty .ESX, file save it to my SD card, and loading that into the Electribe.

You can just load 'em ! No need to delete anything but if you want the patterns gone it's a quick job, about 2 seconds per pattern.
My current Korg gear. MS20 Mini... & now the .... Oh, maybe not !
...Had a few other Korg things over the years.

make sure to look into some of the esx tutorials, there's one that pertains to sampling, you will be able to fit way more samples on your machine.

you can also initialize the ESX but pressing down the write and solo buttons as you turn on the ESX. Then it'll ask you if you want to initialize and if you press play it'll delete everything, samples and patterns. Then you can start afresh and load your own samples off the SD. (you can save the initial sample set to an .esx file before deleting it, but i think it is available on the Korg website.)

I sampled all of the drum banks off of my midines cart, a ton of the kicks and snares from the korg m1, i was foolish with the m1 samples though, it doesn't slice stereo samples, and i had gotten them to sound so good too.

Though i think i still have a ton of time left
