A couple of questions from a newbie

Post by MunkeyBoy »

Hi new Kronos owner here so just getting use to things.
I have created an 8 bar drum loop in the sequencer but it stops after 8 bars rather than looping even with loop set.
Sometimes it loops for longer then just times out any ideas why it does this?
When selecting programs from the sequencer mode do the effects get copied over too or do I need to do something to make this happen?
thanks.

in seq-mode: play/rec tab -> midi-track loop.
than choose the sections you want to loop.

Am I right in thinking if I set a drum beat and bass line to 8 bars I've programmed it should just loop indefinitely while I jam over it ?

No. It will loop until the end of the sequence. You can easily set the song length from the drop down menu.

Is there no way to have a loop to just practice and jam over?
thanks for the replies by the way.

Maybe change song length to 999 bars and go for it. You will likely get tired before it will. :)
