I've been trying to reproduce the synth sound from Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" with my M50

How can I create the best approximation to that sound with my M50?
I would also like some advice on how to get that gate-like effect. I don't think someone's actually playing those rhythms, right? I don't even know what it is, I was just guessing..
