Korg M1 output sounds static
I am resurrecting my Korg M1(I've probably had it 15 years or more) it sounds good and I have reloaded the original sounds, but I can remember from years ago there was a problem with hearing static in the output. The problem is, I am still hearing the static and it might even be worse now, it is rather intermittent. There was some type of fix for this I could have sworn it was related to a capacitor problem or something like that. I have been checking the web but I can't find any information on it. Does anyone have any insight into this issue. I know there are electrolytic caps on the power supply and I know from fixing many tube amps that these canned caps have a shelf life. I enjoy the M1 and I know it's a dinosaur but it really is fun. Any info would be appreciated.
