Wish list:midi clock

Post by glenny g »

I want to keep the internal midi clock going, but I don't want it clogging my midi steam when using the Kronos as a controller. So keeping the current options but being able to turn off clock transmit would be great.

wish list: combi part copy

Post by glenny g »

It would be very handy to be able to copy a combi part from one to another, inside a combi or to another combi.

Maybe I will add this feature in PCG Tools one time, however, it would be more convenient if it would be part of the OS itself.

Undo/Redo?

Post by Gaston »

I use the "compare" button to undo and redo in song mode. It's very effective for just that purpose.

I'd like to see an assignable footswitch function where you can go forward or backward from the footswitch, like an instantaneous press= forward 1 program, a >1 sec held press = backward 1 program. Should be easily do-able.

Improved responsiveness of the touch screen (through broader bounding-boxes, smarter activation of pop-up dialogs etc)

Ability to use the "Enter" key to press "OK" in dialog boxes

Better editor

Improved sequencer with more control over recording automation (recording and editing mix automation at the moment is a pain!)

Option to automatically show control surface screen when a controller is touched.

Probably, but this forum is not for official contact with Korg employees. IF they react, it is out of their free will (and we should be thankful for that kind of extra 'support').

Option to leave solo switch lit ready for use/ mix select

Post by chini »

Any chance of being able to program a combies defalt state when initially selected to have the solo switch lit ready to solo a timbre rather than having to hit the solo switch first ? When playing live this would be one less thing to have to think about.

Further to this currently soloing a timbre does not actually solo any timbres set to external. Ideally it would be useful to have the option to program solo to mute midi to external sources within a combie. Either sending out a simple cc7 at value zero to mute the volume or sending out a note off signal.

Re MIX SELECT switches. Currently the only way to toggle between different selections of timbres within a combie is to utilise KARMA however if you are already using KARMA for rhythmic duties this is not possible. Wouldnt it make sense to be able to use the mix select switches to select different "timbre scenes" within a combie? Thus by hitting any of the 8 MIX SELECT switches one could select pre programmed selections of the 16 timbres available per combie: sort of an 8 way differing grouping selection available within a combie.

I second this.
