Is this possible? I have locked Assignable Switch and saved Globally.
I've also looked at Style/Menu/Preferences, but found no mention of Assignable Switches there..
Style/Menu/Pad Assign.Switch/Switch(tab on bottom)/Assignable Switch
I get here, and I switch to what I'd like my default A.S's to be:
*1* Mute all FX
*2* Style/Mute Drums
*3* Style/Mute Acc/1-5
*4* Style/Mute Bass
and then I "lock" the Lock in the upper Right Hand Corner.
Then I tried >write performance >write current style perf. and >write global-style setup.
Then I power down and back up again, and
Switch 1 is still set to Ritardando, Switch 2 to Voice Proc. Sw.A Tog, Switch 3 to Voice Proc. Sw.B Tog and Sitch 4 to Microphone Talk.
I thought, from P.292 of the Manual .pdf, that I could freeze my prefs, but maybe each individual Style has to be saved that way?
Is there any way to make my A.S. choices, the default for any newly selected Style?
Thanks for any help. You guys who really know this instrument are quite patient and generous with your time, and I appreciate it.
How do I Create a Default Assignable Switch config?

I just had an idea: Maybe if I save my preferences for Assignable Switches to the Style that mysteriously loads at Bootup, those prefs for A.S's will carry over to other Styles, as long as I already have Locked the A.S. lock.
We'll see! It should reboot before my next birthday, so I'll update this post when it does.
