Well it didn't work out. The Jupiter lasted 6 weeks and has now been sold on to a new owner. I just didn't feel anything for it at all, no connection - not in the slightest. I've gone full circle now and gone for a PC3K8, same money but a hell of a lot more bang for buck.

My own experience.
After M3,motif XF,(i apreciate these 2)and 2 kronos(i hate because of reliability problems)i'm giging since more than a year with a jupiter 80(as a live player.)
I'ts by far the best digital synth i own in my life.
The pianos,ep and organs are not superior to the kronos, but for all the synth sounds i't for me far better,big,fat..organic..
It complement very well my nord stage 2 on stage, and i dont' think there's a better configuration to play live as a multi purpose keyboard player.
But...i now;it's only me..

No surprise there kanout, the new Jupiter is after all sold as a "live performance instrument." While it could never replace my beloved OASYS, it is a very nice complement to it and the sounds between the two provide for a vast and varied sonic palette.kanout wrote:My own experience.
